  • Details:  This vintage toothpick holder from Kristal Zajecar showcases the distinguished Brahms pattern, adorned with finely cut palms, X's and a delicate sawtooth rim.  While primarily used for providing toothpicks at the table, it's versatile enough for storing matchsticks at the bar, or cotton swabs in the guest powder room.  Made from 24% lead crystal, it reflects the elegance of Victorian table settings.  A collectible piece of Yugoslavian crystal artistry, it adds timeless sophistication to any fancy tableware collection with its exacting craftsmanship and subtle luxury.  Makes a beautiful hostess gift.

Kristal Zajecar was established in 1974 in Yugoslavia.  They were known for their high quality and beautiful, intricate designs, are are still sought after by collectors, especially designs issued in the 1970's and 1980's.  Due to political and economic reasons, starting in the 1990's, they finally had to close the company in the early 2000's.
