He won the 1968 election. This print was made to help him get there. It never left the factory.
This is an original New Old Stock promotional portrait of Richard M. Nixon — produced for his 1968 presidential campaign by A.A.A. Novelty Company, Washington D.C., on thick glossy card stock. Features a portrait of a notably young Nixon, a facsimile of his signature, and an image of the White House lower right. Marked on reverse: A.A.A. Nov. Co., 1003 Pennsylvania Ave. N.W., Washington, D.C. From original factory stock, never circulated. Eleven available. Unframed.
Nixon won the 1968 election and was inaugurated as the 37th President in January 1969. These campaign promotional prints were produced in bulk for distribution at campaign events, offices, and party headquarters — the kind of political ephemera that was everywhere in 1968 and is genuinely scarce today, particularly in unissued, mint condition from original factory stock. A.A.A. Novelty Company was one of Washington's established political novelty and promotional printers. This example is pristine.
Suitable for framing; we recommend framing to preserve it.
A wonderful piece for a presidential memorabilia collector, a political history enthusiast, an American history buff, or anyone who wants an original piece of 1968 campaign history on their wall.
