This Parallax Breakout Board for XBee Module comes in a kit form and provides a cost-effective solution to interfacing to any XBee or XBee Pro module. By using this adapter board you can provide an easy interface to the XBee or XBee Pro modules by converting the 2mm pin spacing to breadboard friendly 0.100" spacing. The adapter boards also provide a means to connect pluggable wires or solder connections and also provide mounting holes.
Tools Required: Soldering iron, solder, flux, diagonal cutters or exacto knife.

Note: The XBee Adapter Board includes two additional Vdd and Vss pins that are not needed for operation of the XBee RF Module. When cutting the 40-pin header, be sure to only solder the first 10 pins on each side, leaving the bottom two pins labeled Vdd and Vss not connected. Some soldering experience is required for this kit.
