Gold Laser Corydoras (Corydoras sp. CW010) is a stunning and popular freshwater fish known for its vibrant appearance and peaceful nature.
- Appearance: They have olive-green bodies with a fluorescent gold sheen and a bright orange streak running from their eye to their caudal peduncle.
- Size: They typically grow up to 2-3 inches in length.
- Diet: Omnivorous, they enjoy a mix of sinking prepared foods, frozen, and live foods such as brine shrimp, blackworms, and bloodworms.
- Habitat: Native to Peru, they thrive in soft sand substrates which protect their delicate barbels.
- Breeding: They are tank-raised in Indonesia and are known for their hardy nature.
- Tank Parameters: Ideal temperature range is 72°F - 82°F, with a pH range of 5.0 - 7.5.
These Corydoras are best kept in groups of at least six to ensure their social well-being. They make excellent companions for other peaceful fish like Rasboras, Danios, Endlers, and Tetras
