One coffee pot. Plums and peaches on bright white porcelain, a gold rim, an internal strainer. Royal Worcester's most beloved pattern — and one of the most enduring in English tableware history.
This is a vintage coffee pot in the Evesham Gold pattern by Royal Worcester, England. White porcelain with a colorful arrangement of plums, peaches, and foliage, gold rim, with an internal strainer that makes it equally suitable for tea. Stamped on the base: "Royal Worcester, Made in England, Oven to Table Ware, Evesham." Circa 1960s. Holds 5 cups. Excellent condition — no issues noted. One piece available.
The Evesham Gold pattern was introduced by Royal Worcester in 1961, named after the Evesham Wonder plum. It became one of the most extended patterns in the company's history — giftware added in 1967, tableware in 1968, even cutlery in 1980. The pattern ran until 2015 and remains one of Royal Worcester's most collected designs. Other pieces in the Evesham pattern are available in the shop.
Royal Worcester traces its roots to 1751 on the banks of the Severn River in Worcester. By 1789 King George III had granted a Royal Warrant — a distinction that speaks for itself.
A wonderful piece for a Royal Worcester or Evesham collector, a spring or summer table, or anyone who appreciates classic English tableware with genuine history.
